Jazzhus Dexter

Odense’s lively music scene would not be the same without Jazzhus Dexter, run by Posten Music House, and staffed primarily by volunteers.   For the love of jazz – that is the central reason behind the beginnings of this popular jazz club located in the heart of Odense.  Here the young and the youthful mix and mingle to listen to some of the best genres of music.

Jazzhus Dexter offers soulful blues and pulsating jazz; however, it is more than just a jazz club. Country, folk, pop, rock, electronic and indie - among other genres - have made their way into the heart of this venue, which hosts approximately 200 events each year.  Enjoy the FREE jam sessions on Mondays, which alternate between jazz, blues and folk music.  

The Funen Music Conservatory, Folk Club Funen, Songwriters Circle, Association of Funen Jazz Musicians, International House, Odense Blues Circle and Rock MedRynkerare permanent partners, who also entertain guests with their own concerts at Dexter.
