E-commerce terms and conditions for DANHOSTEL Vejle
(Valid from 22.01.24).
TERMS:
Below you can read about how we handle your information, booking, payment etc. during under and after your booking.
When referring to DANHOSTEL it means DANHOSTEL Vejle.
Prices/Payment:
All prices are stated in Danish kroner including VAT.
Payment is made by using one of the approved payment cards/credit cards for online booking, including Dankort, VISA and Mastercard. International payment cards attract a transaction charge as stated via online booking. The size of the charge will be made clear on the transaction before final completion of the transaction.
You can stay at DANHOSTEL without a Danhostel card or HI International card.
In case of purchases of a total package - etc. - discount cannot be achieved.
When using credit card for payment, information will be registered on an encrypted server before sent online.
Information on Internet transaction:
As a consumer you are secured to any misuse of your credit card on the internet.

Receipt for your Purchase:
If you have provided us with a correct e-mail address, you will receive following immediately after your booking and payment of the purchase as shown in the cart:
1. Confirmation of your payment via DIBS
2. A booking confirmation from our online system of your purchase + date of arrival and departure.
Time for arrival is from 16:00 if early check in hasn’t been purchased.
On the day of departure, keys need to be returned at 10:00. If late check out hasn’t been purchased
Right of cancellation and refund:
Use the cancellation link to cancel your reservation, you will find the link in your confirmation.
In cases of on-line bookings concerning family- or individual bookings:
When booking 1 – 3 rooms, the stay can be canceled up to 3 days before arrival at 12.00 with a refund of the entire amount, minus DKK 195.00 in administration fee per booked room. In case of later cancellation, the guest pays the full amount.
When booking more than 3 rooms, cancellations can be made up to 14 days before arrival at 12.00 with repayment of the entire amount, however, minus DKK 195.00 in administration fee per booked room. In case of later cancellation, the guest pays the full amount.
Cancellation must be done via link in confirmation.
When booking via 3 party portals, you must contact the booking site where you made the booking.
Bookings made as Non-Ref / Last Minute / Low budget cannot be changed / refunded.
Number of guests
If more guests stay in the room than booked, payment will be made for the extra guest(s). collection can be done on site or by sending an invoice after the end of the stay.
Bed linen
There is one linen package per person included in the price, if more linen is used or more linen packages are opened than the number of people ordered for, extra linen will be charged.
The collection can be done on the spot or by sending an invoice after the end of the stay.

Dog at Danhostel Vejle
You must always contact us directly at info@vejle-danhostel.dk to book a stay with a dog.
A dog fee will be charged.
Breakfast
It is possible to buy breakfast during the school summer holidays and on selected days the rest of the year.
Danhostel Vejle is run as a self-service hostel, so as a rule there will be no staff on site in connection with your arrival.
Registration of information:
DANSHOTEL register your name, address, e-mail, and other information submitted in connection to the purchase in our costumer database. This information will not be passed any further but is kept in our registration for 5 years. DANHOSTEL use server-side cookies and a secure connection to create security on the information provided by you on the site.
Handling of complaints:
If for any reason you do not receive contract information confirming your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, please notice us on this e-mail: vejle@danhostel.dk
Complaints about the booking process must be made no later than 14 days after the booking has been made if you should have discovered the error or should have discovered the error during a general review of your confirmation. You can only complain in writing by e-mail at vejle@danhostel.dk
We recommend that if you discover a fault with the product (stay) during your stay, you make a verbal complaint at our reception or on the emergency telephone.
We would very much like to remedy any error immediately, just as we will decide whether the received goods (stay) should be exchanged, given a price reduction or refunded.
One year after receipt of the goods (stay), the right to complain ceases in accordance with section 83, subsection of the Sales Act. 1. unless otherwise agreed.
