A Tranquil Forest
Danhostel Rønne is located on an 11,000 m2 conservation area, close to a tranquil forest and next door to a sandy beach. The brothers Per and Mogens Andersen, owners/hosts at Danhostel Rønne, ensure that everything is just right in this cozy and relaxed setting. The hostel has mostly family rooms and can easily accommodate single travelers.
The Old Town of Rønne
The old town of Rønne, Bornholm's largest city, is only 1km away. If you walk over the cobblestones and along the fine half-timbered houses, you quickly sense why Rønne is called a "garden city." The most charming courtyards are hidden behind the houses, and the scent of lilacs and fruit trees envelop all passersby. Bask in the calmness and enjoy the island environment.

If you need more activities, take a trip to the Main Square - Rønne’s centre - which originally was a drilling ground used by the military. Today, it is the place where guests and natives meet, and where the famous market are held. Don’t forget to purchase Bornholm’s own products - granite jewelry, candles, clothing, and anything else you desire. Try the delicious meats, smoked fish and freshly harvested fruits and vegetables.
