New Shuttle Bus makes it easier for Tourists in Vejle

    Line Juhl Kronow

When you stay at Danhostel Vejle, you get a free ride to the doors of various attractions in the area; attractions such as LEGOLAND, Jelling Monuments and Givskud Zoo.

In 2019, the municipality of Vejle decided to allocate more funds for tourism in the area.  As a result, a shuttle bus has been provided to transport tourists to attractions in Vejle and the surrounding areas. The bus picks up passengers from accommodations in Vejle - including Danhostel Vejle - and drives them to many small attractions, popular ones such as the Jelling Monuments, Givskud Zoo and Fårup Lake, and the area's main attraction, LEGOLAND.

    During Summer Holidays
The bus will be available for 6 weeks from June 30 to August 11 (during the peak season and summer holidays). Danhostel Vejle is pleased with the new initiative and hopes that this will attract more families who would like to stay at Danhostel Vejle but do not have a car.

    Three Daily Departures
There will be 3 daily departures in each direction (from Vejle from 9 am, 1 pm, and 5 pm). The ride takes 1½ hours each way. Enjoy the views while you ride.

    Stay Close to Nature
Danhostel Vejle is located just outside the city of Vejle in quiet surroundings, right at the beautiful nature area of Vejle Ådal. There are great opportunities for hiking and cycling. When you stay at Danhostel Vejle, you have many opportunities to enjoy a fun-filled holiday with memorable experiences.
