The building itself was once the busy Telephone Exchange in Aarhus where communication was key, and the switchboard and operators worked overtime to connect people. The communication continues in this lively setting filled with laughter, small talk and hygge.
When you step into Danhostel Aarhus City, you will find that this is not your ordinary hostel. Using furniture obtained from a luxury hotel in Copenhagen and recycled materials such as plywood and pallets, Danhostel Aarhus City is determined to make sustainability a priority.
