    Terms of payment and delivery

    Below you will find useful information in connection with the use of online booking. For example, you can read about how we handle your details, how you will receive your receipt for any purchases, and much more. 

    Payment

    All prices listed in Danhostel Kolding Vandrerhjems online booking system are the same as they are elsewhere on the website. The prices are stated in Danish kroner inclusive VAT and all charges unless otherwise stated and made clear in the certain situation.

    Payment is made by using one of the approved payment cards/credit cards for online booking, including Dankort, VISA and Mastercard. When using an international payment cards there will be a charge as stated via online booking. The size of the charge will appear on the transaction before the final completion of the transaction. 

    Information on Internet transactions

    You can safely make transactions on the Internet via our online booking system. As a consumer, you are automatically covered for any misuse of your credit card on the Internet, so you are not at risk of any personal liability for misuse of your credit card on the Internet.     Sending and delivery

    On booking and paying for a room and any additional purchases such as breakfast, linen hire, etc., you will be shown a contract/confirmation from Danhostel Kolding Vandrerhjem, showing the invoice for your purchase. The contract can be printed out from the website after you have completed the booking, and it will also be e-mailed to you immediately after the purchase, provided that you have given a valid e-mail address at the time of booking. 

    Delivery of the product you ordered takes place upon your arrival at Danhostel Kolding Vandrerhjem on the arrival date (and is completed upon your departure on the departure date). Both of these days are stated in the contract/confirmation above. 

    Right of cancellation and refund

    You have the opportunity to cancel your booking under the following conditions:

    • A stay can be cancelled up to 2 days prior to arrival. Danhostel Kolding shall recieve a written cancellation i.e. email.
    • For cancellations received within the stated deadlines, the full amount will be refunded – unless DKK 100, according to the administrative charge.
    • If you cancel later than the stated deadlines for cancellation, you will forfeit the whole amount paid. 

    Cancellation must be in writing and must be sent directly to kolding@danhostel.dk

    Registration and details

    Danhostel Kolding Vandrerhjem will register your name, address, e-mail address and other details provided in connection with the purchase in a database. Your details will be treated with confidentiality, and Danhostel Kolding Vandrerhjem will retain this information for 5 years. 

    Danhostel Kolding Vandrerhjem’s online booking uses serverside cookies and a secure connection to provide security in relation to the details you supply on the website.

    For payment by credit card, your information is registered using a secure server, where the details are encrypted before being sent via the Internet. 

    Complaints handling

    If for any reason you do not receive your contract, which confirms your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address below or telephone us.

     Any complaints about the booking process, the actual booking or the product (your stay) must be lodged within a reasonable time after you have, or should have, become aware of the error when making a general review of your contract. You may complain in writing or verbally. One year after you have received the product (your stay), the right to complain lapses pursuant to the Sale of Goods Act Section 83(1), unless otherwise has been agreed. 

    When Danhostel Kolding Vandrerhjem receives your complaint about a product, the complaint will be dealt with as soon as possible. Danhostel Kolding Vandrerhjem will decide whether you are to receive a refund or exchange for the product received, or whether you are to be given a price reduction.
