Terms and conditions regarding e-trade for Danhostel Ribe
Here you will find useful information concerning the use of online booking. Among others you can read how we treat your personal information and that you will receive a receipt for your purchase and much more.
Payment
All prices are in Danish kroner/Euro and taxes are included unless stated otherwise.
You pay by using one of the approved credit cards including Dankort, Visa, Mastercard/Eurocard.
There are no extra charges when using our online booking.
Confirmation of your order and delivery
When you book room, breakfast, rent sheets etc. you will see a contract including the billing information and purchase information on the screen at the end of the booking process. Please print the contract. If you are careful to supply a valid e-mail address for yourself you will also receive an e-mail with your contract information.
Delivery of the order you have booked online (= your stay) happens when you arrive at Danhostel Ribe and ends on the day of departure. Both of these dates are written in the contract mentioned above.
Cancellation and refunds
The following conditions apply if you wish to cancel your online booking:
- If you cancel your reservation more than 7 days prior to arrival you will get a full refund except for an administration fee of D.kr. 100, - To get a refund you have to inform the hostel of your Banks name, IBAN number and your account number. Please cancel your booking using our e-mail or by letter.
- If you cancel less than 7 days prior to arrival you will lose the full amount
Privacy policy and handling of personal information
Danhostel Ribe register your online-booking information. The information will be kept in our customer data base for 5 years. The information will not be given to any third party.
Danhostel Ribe uses server side cookies and a secure connection to handle your online-booking information.
Your credit card payment will take place on a secure server and the information is encrypted to enable third parties to read it.
Contact information
If for some reason you do not receive your contract which confirms your order please contact us using the information below.
Complaints concerning the booking process or the received product must take place within a reasonable time after you have noticed the mistake or you should have noticed the mistake by looking through your contract. You can complain either by letter, by phone or by e-mail. Your right to complain expires after 1 year from the date you staid at Danhostel Ribe in accordance with Danish trade law §83,1.
When Danhostel Ribe receives a complaint, we will decide on it as soon as possible whether to refund all or some of the amount.
