Danhostel Sakskøbing is centrally located on the island of Lolland so it is close to many exciting cultural offerings and beautiful surroundings. We are within walking distance of the town centre, train station, harbour and forest.

Our Danhostel is on one level and is decorated with nostalgic furniture and a touch of modern art. We provide 18 ensuite rooms, a common room with an open fireplace, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Outside we have table tennis, a mini golf course, plus many green niches where you can relax.  Next to our Danhostel is our sports centre where you can use our well-equipped facilities. Our kitchen prepares excellent meals.

There are several must-see attractions in and around Sakskøbing.  Knuthenborg Animal Park is an African Safari located in Lolland. Tour the park to see giraffes, rhinos, zebras, monkeys, tigers, wolves and more.  The Medieval Centre enacts life in a medieval town with traders, skilled craftsmen, soldiers, wealthy citizens, knights and livestock.  Fuglsang Art Museum is one of Denmark's oldest art museums which houses permanent and changing exhibitions from various artists. Frilands Museum (Maribo Open-Air Museum) has several buildings including a four-length farmhouse, a smithy, a forester's residence, an engine house and a paper mill.  Crocodile Zoo has the world's only collection of 23 existing crocodile species in one place. There are also other reptiles including monitor lizards, snakes, iguanas, and monkeys.
