Danhostel Viborg groups

At Danhostel Viborg we welcome groups of all kinds to book accommodation with us. Whether you are a sports group, friends, family or workmates, you will enjoy your stay with us.

We are in a green area of Viborg, just by the forest and close to a lake where you can swim and fish. We provide 31 rooms, most of which have private bathrooms. Our amenities include free Wi-Fi, free parking, laundry facilities, a TV lounge, billiards, table tennis, a playground, barbecue area and more. Viborg Sports Centre with a gym and swimming pool are close by. Our Danhostel prepares healthy meals made from scratch and if you would like to plan an event while you stay with us, we will do the catering.

The town of Viborg has an exciting Viking history.  When you visit, take a stroll on the quaint medieval streets and enjoy the special shops, restaurants and cafes.  There are several museums such as The Energy Museum, Skovgaard Museum, plus mines and quarries. There are also various sports facilities if you would like to train while you stay with us.  Venture out to Dollerup Hills, hike or bike near the lakes and through the forests or travel 2 hours north to the beautiful town of Skagen to discover unique light and art.
