Danhostel Hillerød lies in scenic surroundings close to Frederiksborg Castle, Hillerød Centre (Slotsarkaderne), and Hillerød Station.  We offer accommodation for all guests and provide a training centre with modern AV equipment for meetings and courses.

Our hostel, which has 45 comfortable rooms - most with private bathrooms - is open all year. There is free parking, free internet access in all public areas, TV lounge, a lovely garden, bicycle shed. We are right in the middle of nature with the forest, Store Dyrehave and several lakes as our nearest neighbours.

Danhostel Hillerød sits on 7 ha of protected land with a natural playground, barbecue areas, playing fields, outdoor table tennis, volleyball court and opportunities for all types of ball games. Spend time in our cosy living rooms with TV, indoor table tennis, air hockey, football, and billiards.The nearest supermarket is 500 m from the hostel and it is only 200 m to the nearest bus stop.

Hillerød town, in the heart of North Zealand, is surrounded by the forest, Store Dyrehave, and the forest, Gribskov. Hillerød offers an active urban culture with art, music and several sports clubs. Activities include tennis, soccer, basketball, swimming, and running. Royal Stage offers many sporting and cultural events. Shop at Hillerød’s two pedestrian streets and large shopping centre, Slotsarkaderne and take a break at a café or restaurant.
