Danhostel Tisvildeleje, part of Sankt Helene Holiday Resort, is an oasis in North Zealand.  Our hostel is a restored farmhouse with 40 comfortable rooms.  We are located just 10 minutes from the coast, half an hour’s drive from historic Hillerød and an hour's drive from Copenhagen.  

We provide a variety of amenities for our guests whether you are a single traveller, family, group or course participant.  We offer free Wi-Fi in our common areas, free parking, meeting rooms with the latest AV equipment and laundry facilities.  In our cosy TV lounge, catch up on the latest news, or go out and have fun on our playground, tennis and petanque court, and mini golf course.  You have the option of preparing your own meals in our well-equipped guest kitchen or you can eat in our restaurant.  If you travel with children or are young at heart, feel free to feed our farm animals.  From our hostel, you have direct access to the forest of Tisvildeleje, so rent bicycles from us and go on a tour of the area. 

Tisvildeleje is a lovely town located in the northern section of the island of Zealand.  The area has beautiful white sand beaches which are child-friendly, and large forested areas.  This is one of the best areas to take friends and family out for a swim or for hiking or biking through the woods. 

There are many attractions and activities you can enjoy while in North Zealand.  Stroll along the coast to Asserbo Castle ruins, a fortress and monastery or take a trip to Kronborg Castle in Elsinore.  The fishing villages of Tisvilde, Hundested and Gilleleje are worth a visit.  Copenhagen and the rest of North Zealand are filled with exciting activities, festivals, markets and concerts.
