Danhostel Rebild is a 4-star hostel situated at the top of Rebild Bakker National Park in Rold Forest. We have 86 beds in 21 rooms with a maximum of 4 beds per room. All our rooms have private bathrooms.  We have a well-equipped guest kitchen, a large dining room, a TV and living room, and a cafe.  Our school and conference rooms are perfect for school camp meetings. Outside our hostel are many areas for recreation. We provide tables, benches and a barbecue area. Our garden has apple and pear trees, plus quiet areas for contemplation. Spend a day studying the flora and fauna nearby.  Catch a trout, gather the seasonal herbs and use them when you help to prepare your dinner. 

Danhostel Rebild is a fantastic starting point for excursions in the area, especially if the focus is on subjects such as biology, geography, mathematics or cultural history.  Visit Rebild Bakker National Park located in the middle of Rold Forest - the perfect place to enjoy nature.  This is one of Denmark's largest forest. Discover heath, heather, fields, lakes and flowers. Frueskoen, a rare orchid, grows only in Rold Forest.  Learn about the area’s rich cultural history with innumerable legends and exciting stories about poachers, robbers, bullies, witches and others. Try treasure hunting in Rold Forest using a GPS and solve several tasks in order to locate the treasure. The young ones will use their Mathematics skills differently from how it is utilised in the classroom. Go on more adventures when you do some rock climbing and test the giant swing to get an adrenaline rush

Let nature be your gym as you exercise not only your mind but your legs in the beautiful surroundings. There is a hilly and strenuous 23 km MTB route - a challenge for even the most experienced rider.  Choose which parts of the route you prefer. In October 2012, Denmark's first children's MTB track was inaugurated, so the young ones will have fun with this exciting challenge. If more activities are needed, try a canoe trip including a race on Lindenborg Lake.  Visit Rebild Nature Schools with competent nature guides or the Nature School at Røverknolden Nature Playground and discover more exciting challenges.
