Danhostel Ribe groups

WELCOME to Danhostel Ribe a Family and Youth Hostel in Ribe, Denmark.

DANHOSTEL Ribe is in the middle of Ribe overlooking the Ribe River, the medieval town and Ribe Cathedral. At Danhostel Ribe Youth and Family Hostel we accommodate groups ranging from 10 to 170 persons. We also welcome your group. All our 40 rooms have private bathrooms. We offer free Wi-Fi, free parking, bicycle rentals, table tennis, gym and a garden with beautiful flowers. We serve delicious food so try our superb breakfast buffet with delicious organic and homemade products.  Our hostel has been awarded the official Eco-label “Green Key” so we try in many ways to make a difference regarding the environment.

Ribe is the oldest and one of the most beautiful towns in Denmark. The old preserved houses, narrow streets and cobblestoned streets will remind you of locations Hans Christian Andersen described in his fairy tales. Ribe holds tales of Vikings, Kings and Queens, witches, pirates, floods etc, yet it is a modern town with many cafés, pubs, speciality shops and museums.  Each year there are a host of cultural events. Ribe is in a flat marshland close to the Wadden Sea National Park, a UNESCO site, and one of Europe’s leading projects in nature conservation. There are birds, seals and oysters so enjoy a fantastic experience when you go on a safari. The beaches at the North Sea can be reached within 30 minutes by car.
