Danhostel Frederikshavn City is a bright hostel located at (Vægtetorv) Watchman Square in the centre of Frederikshavn. We offer free Wi-Fi and parking, a TV lounge, a cosy sofa corner, a guest kitchen and a patio. We are close to ferries, a railway station and more than 140 shops and restaurants.  

There are 28 rooms with private bathrooms and 3 apartments. Our 2 meeting rooms have modern AV equipment.

Frederikshavn is a market town with a special atmosphere.  Borrow/rent one of the 100 city bikes and ride to The Palm Beach (Palmestranden), or to the Bangsbo area which has Bangsbo Fort, a museum, botanical garden, deer park and a playground.  Enjoy a 'Frederikshavner', a freshly caught fish from the Kattegat Sea.

Take a trip to the islands of Læsø and Hirseholmene, or go to Gothenburg, Sweden, by ferry.  The terminal is just 300 m from the hostel.  The beautiful town of Skagen with art and unique light is also worth a visit.
