Danhostel Vejen, part of Vejen Sports Centre, welcome all to accommodation in beautiful surroundings.  Our Danhostel is part of Vejen Sports Centre, which is one of the region's largest sports centres. We are constantly developing our facilities and our amenities include, but are not limited to, a lovely SPA section, 8 swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), exercise facilities with WordGym machines, badminton courts, rowing teams and machines, yoga classes and a large outdoor facility for athletics, football and tennis. We focus on activities, well-being and meals which support a green, healthy lifestyle.

Danhostel Vejen and Vejen Sports Centre attach great importance to learning, health and community. All are incorporated in your stay whether you come for holiday, conference, school camps or sports training.  Our Danhostel is in the Triangle Region and is open all year round. We offer 8 cabins and 16 rooms - all with private bathrooms.  We also provide a TV lounge, laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, parking for cars and campers, barbeque areas, and a café at our sports centre. There are meeting and conference rooms with modern AV equipment, and room for 25 to 2000 participants. Dogs are welcome at Danhostel Vejen.

During your stay, buy a sports pass, which allows you to enjoy all the amenities at our Danhostel. There are activities and facilities for all guests. The swim hall and wellness areas are ready for play and relaxation. Work up a sweat in the health club with the training team.  The young or young at heart can get the best workout in the gym.

The cities and town of Esbjerg, Kolding, Vejle and Ribe, each with unique urban life and many attractions, are within easy driving distance.  Danhostel Vejen is only a half hour drive to LEGOLAND, Aarhus and the North Sea. We are also close to the motorway to Copenhagen.

There are many marked mountain bike routes for cyclists and several golf courses along the Army Road (Hærvejen). There is the possibility to fish in King River (Kongeåen). Test your golf swing on one of Jutland’s fine courses including Vejen’s own golf club. Here you can play golf on the scenic 18-hole course, or practice on probably the best 9-hole Pay & Play course in Denmark. Once you are up and swinging, continue, if necessary, to the beautiful courses in Holsted or Jels. Jels’ course uses the American USGA standards and has very large greens that are, on average, over 700 square m. It is worth a mention when you return to your own golf course.

Do not forget to take a trip to Vejen Town Centre and visit the beautiful park, Troldeparken and Vejen Art Museum. Try out the park's playground and look for the funny sculpture, ‘The Singing Stone’. For more adventure, take a trip south to Jels, and experience Viking history and deadly sword fighting at the Town’s unique open-air performances.
